At Gluten Free Goodness adding a beauty range has been on the back burner for some time. I’m passionate about finding wholesome, healthy ingredients to put into my body so it makes sense to have the same thoughts about my skin. Skin care for coeliac disease is NOT a must have (you must consume gluten for you to damage your villi) however, if you have an additional wheat allergy and/or dermatitis (such as¬†Dermatitis¬†herpetiformis) you may find that your skin will benefit from using gluten and wheat free skincare products. I started to look into the skincare range once I realised I was having reactions to roll on deodorant which made me look into the more organic side of things (Noosa Basics in particular) I have eczema flareups when I eat wheat products (additional wheat allergy, so no wheat glucose for me!) and I’ve found that using these particular products have helped the eczema in those sensitive areas. This is the reason that I’ve added a beauty range to the website, to help others that are in the same circumstance as me.
